Kings River below Pine Flat Dam

Well, for our first adventure, we made it about 25 miles; it’s a small world when number seven and eight want their babas and we realize they need a pit stop and a change.

Well, our first pit stop got us to our first adventure that was the Pine Flat Dam.
The Pine Flat Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Kings River of central California in the United States. Situated about 20 miles (32 km) east of Fresno.  Oh, so exciting, I know.  But we were surprised by what we found.

On Monday, January 7, 2013, our family went to the Kings River by Pine Flat Dam.  The area had a nice trail that we used when we went.  The trail was fairly new and hasn't been used much yet. The trail was lined with trees and had a few good photography spots (that's why we were there, to take pictures.) While we were on the trail, we spotted a Red Tail Hawk in some trees by the path. You could also see the river from most of the trail. There were pic-nic table along the path so you could bring a lunch. The river shore was covered in rocks. The river and trail were beautiful and really worth exploring and visiting.

Hi, how are you?  Our first trip was near the dam.  Our whole family had fun, even the babies.  We went for a walk on a fairly new trail.  It was incredibly pretty.  One of the best things we saw was a red tail hawk!  We weren't expecting that. We had a pic-nic on a rock, but there were some tables that people could use.  The river has rocks on the shore, lots of them. We did not just take pictures. we had fun has a family! I really think that you would love it. I hope you go there some day.
